Placement Process Guidelines

1. Job Offers and Interviews:

  • INJEX will provide students with a list of curated job offers that align with their interests and skill sets. Students should express their interest by
  • submitting their resumes or application materials within the specified
  • timeline.
  • INJEX will arrange mock interviews and feedback sessions to prepare students for actual recruitment interviews.

2. Declining an Offer:

  • If a student receives an offer and wishes to decline, they should do so within a reasonable timeframe (usually 2-3 days after receiving the offer) and provide valid reasons for their decision (e.g., compensation, job location, career growth opportunities).
  • If a student refuses an offer without a valid reason or engages in an unreasonable delay, this will be documented, and the student may face limitations in receiving further placement assistance.

3. Unreasonable Conduct:

  • Unreasonable conduct includes:
  • Failing to attend scheduled interviews without prior notice.
  • Applying for roles that do not align with the student’s profile or expectations.
  • Keeping recruiters ā€œin limboā€ by delaying decisions without valid reasons.
  • Repeatedly refusing offers after expressing initial interest.
  • o Students engaging in such conduct may have their placement privilegestemporarily suspended or revoked, depending on the severity of the behavior.

4. Final Placement:

  • Once a student accepts a job offer, it is considered a commitment. Any withdrawal after acceptance can significantly impact both the student’s and INJEX’s reputation with potential employers.
  • INJEX will continue to provide post-placement support, including feedback on job performance and career progression, but the student must remain professional and committed to their role.
